Matthew 9:12

"It is not the healthy people who need a Doctor but the sick"
Something that is widely thought is that the church is only for the perfect people. This could not be farther from the truth! Followers of Christ accept that they are imperfect and that therefore they need Christ.. This is a verse that is especially revealing for me, since I still sometimes think Christians to be perfect and therefore feel the need to be perfect too. We are perfect only because God sees Christ's perfect life when He looks at Christ's followers, which means that we no longer have to try to be perfect! I hope to remind myself of this many times in the future. 
Another reason why this is a verse that stands out to me is that I'm currently a Medicine student training to become a doctor.
